November 8, 2024 — Mr. Zaheer C. Abubakar, a first-year Bachelor of Science in Information Technology student, brought pride to Colegio de Kidapawan after securing third runner-up in the Philippine Statistics Quiz Regional Championships. The event was held at the Philippine Statistics Authority–Regional Statistical Services Office XII in Koronadal City, South Cotabato, gathering 20 delegates from General Santos, Sarangani, South Cotabato, North Cotabato, and Sultan Kudarat.
Abubakar’s outstanding performance reflects his dedication, analytical skill, and passion for statistics. His achievement serves as an inspiration for fellow CdK students to pursue excellence in mathematics, data analytics, and related fields. As competitions like the Philippine Statistics Quiz continue to nurture young talent, they also help build a stronger culture of statistical literacy and evidence-based thinking among learners.
